- Configure firewall http proxy and periodic quote fetches.
- Automatically update Xinvest with this information on each quote update.
- Log quotes to a file in Xinvest or semicolon separated list formats.
- Add new servers or quote types without rebuilding Xquote.
- View quote data in table or ticker tape formats.
- Select table view details including: price, change, volume, daily low and high, ex-dividend date, 52 week low and high, P/E ratio, dividend, yield, date, time, and quote fullname.
- X11R5 and X11R6 automatic session management. If you use CDE or X11R6's xsm, Xquote will retain its operating conditions the next time you start your desktop automatically!
- Manual session managment: configure Xquote the way you want, select File->Save Session, and Xquote will create a .xquoterc file that can be restored the next time you start it. Use the -restore filename command line option to start Xquote with the last manually saved state.
- View news headlines from the Xinvest/Xquote home page via the 'About' dialog.
- Run Xquote inside a toolbar such as fvwm's GoodStuff or CDE's frontpanel.
